What is Coding?
Coding a process using a programming languages(python,c++,java, swift etc) to interact with computers, coding is more than just giving instructions to the computer, it’s also the backbone of creating a tons of softwares, websites, apps etc. The individuals who do such things are called coders or programmers depending on thier skills. To explain this further let me just be specific in one programming language because when I am talking about coding i am talking about all types of programing languages out there, so for instance let me explain python and understand what Coding is.
If we want to give a command like Hello world to the computer using python we have to say like this print (” hello world”) you see it’s really easy pizzy isn’t? This proves that the technology is really growing so because we are using pretty easy language to communicate with computers.

We all are using social media applications nowadays and all of this social media applications are created with bunch of codes. No wonder what will happen behind the scenes most of us just clicking buttons on different social medias. So let me explain more in details in every computer programming there is always input and output but the process in the middle is always keep hidden for users but the coders know what’s going on behind the scenes because they created the software. There is two ways to explain this further. There is 2 types of way to interact with the application or os we are using the first one is CLI (command line interface) and the second one is GUI( graphical user interface)

Command line interface (CLI)

A command-line interface(CLI) allows the user to interact with the computer by typing in commands . The computer displays a prompt, the user keys in the command and presses enter or return. Which means it’s more specific way of communicating with the application or operating system that you are interacting with but what I want to say here is CLI is not for everyone if individuals don’t know Coding they can’t barley understand what to do on CLI but on the other a lot of coders like CLI because they want to know that what’s happening behind the scenes or how thier Code is running. Anyway you can find command line interface (CLI) on command prompt for windows and terminal for mac.

Graphical user interface (GUI)

Nowadays a lot of people use social medias like Facebook or snap chat and when they use this applications they don’t need to code or give a command like CLI .A GUI is graphics-based operating system interface that uses icons, menus and a mouse (to click on the icon or pull down the menus) to manage interaction with the system. The graphics library provides a high-level graphics programming interface. So whenever you are using such kind of applications just know that you are using GUI( Graphical user interface)

What is technology ?

Technology is scientific way of solving problems. There is a lot of definition about it anyway! The origin of this word is greek word “Techne” means art and craft while”logos“means word or speech and we link these two words together we will end up to these definition ” systematic treatment“.so many people think that technology is just some sort of electrical devices but as we look to the definition of technology we are talking about the idea or the knowledge but not tools or Gadgets. So the things you see (cars, Robot etc) which is the product of technology said to be Applied technology!

What’s Applied technology?

The word applied refers to the way how technology (ideas, knowledge) implemented into reality. To explain it further more Applied technology refers to how we apply the knowledge we have about particular things so for example let’s assume that we are manufacturing a device for that to happen we need to apply some knowledge (for ex maths, physics or chemistry ) , so finally the final product will be called applied technology.

What kind of things considered to be technology from your perspective?

I hope you have learned about technology a bit! With that understanding, what things do you consider as a technology? Well, technology is not just about Robotics or computer it’s the idea of solving problems to make life easier for all human being ! But notice that there is too many types technology but in this days only modern technologies like artificial intelligence is only gaining popularity that why so many people think that technology is only about computers.
